Lily sampangi, known in English as tuberose, has waxy white flowers and a strong, sweet scent that fills a room. We already sell it loose; this is the same flower strung into a string about 6 feet long.

How it is used: Draped over deity pictures and the pooja shelf, hung across a doorway for a function, and worn in the hair by those who like a stronger fragrance than jasmine.

What you receive: One 6 ft sampangi string, wrapped for carrying home.

Care & handling

Keep the string wrapped, or loosely in a damp paper towel inside a closed container, in the refrigerator (not the freezer) until you need it. A light sprinkle of water stops the flowers drying out.
