Jasmine and kanakambaram are often worn together: the jasmine brings the scent, the kanakambaram brings the color. This string combines the two in alternating bands, about 6 feet long.

How it is used: Worn in the hair for festivals, weddings and temple visits, and used on deity pictures when you want a touch of color.

Care & handling

Keep the string wrapped, or loosely in a damp paper towel inside a closed container, in the refrigerator (not the freezer) until you need it. A light sprinkle of water stops the flowers drying out.
