Carnation heads strung close together into a soft, full string, about 3 feet long. The ruffled petals give a fuller look than a bud string, which is why carnation strings are a favorite for decoration.

How it is used: Draped over deity pictures, tied along the edge of a stage or mandap, hung in rows for a photo backdrop, and added as a band of color to other garlands.

What you receive: One 3 ft carnation string, wrapped for carrying.

How to order: each piece is made for your order. Add it to the cart and choose a pickup day; the cart offers days from 7 days ahead. Orders are collected from Spice Town, 378 Kelly Rd, Vernon, CT. Questions: call 860-237-4280.

Flowers and leaves are natural products: color, size and fullness vary from batch to batch, and fresh flowers are perishable.
