Garlands for the home shrine, deity pictures and murtis, and for taking to the temple, in a set of our own designs. Every design comes in lengths from 2 ft, for a small framed picture, up to 7 ft, for a large murti or the top of a doorway.
How it is used: Draped over framed deity pictures and idols on festival days, offered at the temple, and hung for griha pravesam, Satyanarayana pooja and other family poojas.
How to choose: Designs are numbered in our own sequence. Photos of each design are being added; until then, call 860-237-4280 or ask at the store to see a design before you order. If you would like a different color or length from the ones listed, call and we will tell you what we can make. To pick a length, measure around the frame or across the murti's shoulders: 2 to 3 ft suits most framed pictures on a home shelf, and 5 ft or more is for larger murtis and doorways.
What you receive: One pooja garland in the design and length you choose, bagged for carrying.
How to order: each piece is made for your order. Add it to the cart and choose a pickup day; the cart offers days from 7 days ahead. Orders are collected from Spice Town, 378 Kelly Rd, Vernon, CT. Questions: call 860-237-4280.
Flowers and leaves are natural products: color, size and fullness vary from batch to batch, and fresh flowers are perishable.

Care & handling
Keep the garland in its bag in the refrigerator (not the freezer) or a cool room until the pooja. Lay it flat or loosely coiled so the flowers keep their shape, and sprinkle a little water if it looks dry.
