Mullai is a slender-budded jasmine with a lighter scent than malli. Here it is sold loose, by weight, before stringing.

How it is used: Archana, offering at the home altar, filling a pooja plate, and stringing at home.

Care & handling

Spread the flowers out in a container lined with a damp paper towel, put the lid on and keep them in the refrigerator (not the freezer). Do not soak them; mist lightly if they look dry.
