Broad, flat garlands built in layers: a base of chrysanthemum heads with rows of rose on top, so the pair looks wide and full from the front. Chrysanthemums tend to wilt more slowly than jasmine during a long ceremony.

Care & handling

Keep the garland in its bag in the refrigerator (not the freezer) until you hang or wear it. Sprinkle lightly with water if the flowers look dry, and lay it flat or loosely coiled so it keeps its shape.
