These are malli (jasmine) buds before they are strung, sold by weight. Loose buds give you freedom: offer them by the handful, scatter them on a plate, or string a length to your own measure.

How it is used: Archana and daily pooja, filling a pooja thali or kalasam plate, floating in a bowl of water, and stringing at home for the hair.

What you receive: A bag of loose jasmine buds of the weight you choose.

Care & handling

Spread the flowers out in a container lined with a damp paper towel, put the lid on and keep them in the refrigerator (not the freezer). Do not soak them; mist lightly if they look dry.
