Erukkam poo, the flower of the calotropis plant, is a traditional offering to Lord Ganesha (Vinayagar) and Lord Shiva. It is most in demand around Ganesh Chaturthi.

How it is used: offered at Vinayagar pooja and Shiva pooja, strung into small garlands for the idol, and used in temple offerings.

What you receive: loose erukkam flowers packed by weight. Choose 50 g or 500 g. Available for festival dates only.

Spread the flowers out in a covered container lined with a damp paper towel in the refrigerator (not the freezer) until use. Erukkam is not edible and its milky sap can irritate skin and eyes: keep it away from children and pets and wash your hands after handling.
