A jada covers the bride's braid in flowers from the crown to the tip, with jasmine as the base and colored flowers worked in as a pattern. It is a highlight of South Indian bridal hair and of the photographs. These are our own set of jada designs, each made for a full-length braid.

How to choose: Designs are numbered in our own sequence. Photos of each design are being added; until then, call 860-237-4280 or ask at the store to see a design before you order. If you would like a different color or length from the ones listed, call and we will tell you what we can make. If the braid, or the hair extension, is unusually long or short, call us after ordering so we can make the jada to fit.

What you receive: One jada in the design you choose, boxed for carrying, with pins to fix it in place.

How to order: each piece is made for your order. Add it to the cart and choose a pickup day; the cart offers days from 7 days ahead. Orders are collected from Spice Town, 378 Kelly Rd, Vernon, CT. Questions: call 860-237-4280.

Care & handling

Keep it in its box or a closed container in the refrigerator (not the freezer) until you dress the hair. Pin it in place a short time before the function; the flowers soften and open as the day goes on.
